Therapy
My therapy approach is rooted in self-compassion and the belief that you are both enough exactly as you are and deserving of feeling better. Wellness isn’t about fixing yourself—it’s about understanding yourself. Together, we explore your patterns, your needs, your relationship with your body, and the forces that have shaped how you care for yourself, all with curiosity rather than judgment.
This work is about creating space for a life that feels more aligned with your purpose, your values, and your inner wisdom. It’s about learning to support your well-being in sustainable, nurturing ways, while honoring your worth at every step. You don’t have to choose between accepting yourself and wanting change—both can be true. And from that place, deeper healing becomes possible.
Therapy Process
Therapy is a collaborative journey—a place where you’re supported, understood, and gently guided as you move through the changing seasons of life. It’s a steady, compassionate space to explore what’s happening within you and around you, to make sense of your patterns, and to build a life that feels more aligned with who you are becoming. We begin by exploring what life looks and feels like for you right now: your stressors, your strengths, your patterns, and the places where you feel stuck. Together, we uncover the “why” behind what you’re experiencing so we can create meaningful, sustainable change.
My work is informed by years of experience in bariatric surgery—as well as my own lived experience as a bariatric patient. I understand that obesity is a complex, chronic disease shaped by biology, environment, trauma, and the harsh pressures of diet culture. This perspective allows me to offer respectful, evidence-based, stigma-free care to anyone navigating their relationship with food, body, or health.
I also support people through many other life challenges as well. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, chronic overwhelm, and major life transitions—career shifts, identity changes, midlife reevaluations, and the search for a more grounded, intentional way of living. You don’t need to have one specific issue to belong here; you just need a desire to understand yourself more deeply and move toward a life that feels more aligned.
Throughout our work, you’ll learn practical tools for managing emotions, tending to your needs, and building habits that support your well-being—not through pressure or perfectionism, but through curiosity and compassion. We look at what’s working, what’s not, and what might serve you better as you grow.
Therapy isn’t about becoming someone new—it’s about becoming more fully yourself. My goal is to help you feel grounded, capable, and connected to a life that reflects your values, your purpose, and your inherent worth. This is a space to slow down, breathe, and build a more intentional relationship with yourself, your body, and your future.

Fees & FAQs
Q: What are your fees?
A: Sessions are scheduled for 50 mins and fee of $290 is due at time of appointment.
Q: Do you accept insurance?
A: I do not accept insurance. This allows me to provide care without the limitations insurance companies often place on session length, frequency, treatment approach, or required diagnoses. It also protects your privacy by keeping your mental health information out of insurance records unless you choose to share it. Additionally, managing insurance claims requires significant administrative time and resources, and rates of reimbursement have not kept pace with fair pay for a therapist with my experience, nor have they kept up with costs of running a practice. Removing these administrative and financial burdens allows me to focus more on your care.
Q: Can I still use my insurance benefits in any way?
A: Yes. Many clients are able to receive partial reimbursement for therapy through their out-of-network benefits. If your plan offers this, I can provide a superbill—an itemized receipt with the information your insurance company needs to process reimbursement. You can submit this directly to your insurer. I will not interact with your insurer in any way and reimbursement process is entirely between you and your insurer.
Q: How do I know if I have out-of-network benefits?
A: Your insurance provider can tell you whether your plan includes out-of-network mental health coverage, the reimbursement rate, and any deductible that must be met before reimbursement begins. I’m happy to guide you on what questions to ask.
Q: When is payment due?
A: Payment is due at the time of each session. I accept credit cards, HSA/FSA cards, and other secure forms of payment.
Q: Do you see people in-person or virtually?
